Accommodation Types on Offer

Here at iCan Support Services, we arrange three main types of disability accommodation:

  • Short-term accommodation: Our short-term accommodation options allow you to either trial living away from your family or friends or have a break from your usual routine & living environment. Our team can also arrange short-term accommodation for your holiday. Short-term stays can provide a great opportunity to build your independence, spend time away from your carer & usual routine or focus on your goals & hobbies—all in a safe & supportive environment.
  • Medium-term accommodation: Medium-term accommodation is usually available for up to 90 days. It’s suitable for those in-between homes or waiting for their next home to become available. We’ve had clients stay in medium-term accommodation while waiting for their homes to be modified with technology or equipment to help them live independently or for Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) to become available.
  • Supported Independent Living (SIL): Supported Independent Living accommodation is designed to provide a suitable level of on-site support & daily services to enable individuals to live as independently as possible. We can help find housing that meets your specific needs.
